A Cycle of School Psychology workshops “Dia-logos for support and cooperation in the school community” & “International Resources”
The workshop entitled “Supporting the school community in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic: Needs, Practices and Interventions” was organized online by Laboratory of School Psychology and the Postgraduate Program “School Psychology” of the Department of Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the framework of the cycle of School Psychology workshops “Reasons for support and cooperation in the school community”.
The aim of the workshop was through the interdisciplinary perspective of education executives, teachers and mental health professionals / specialists to highlight:
1.”Psychological needs, practices and interventions at school and family during the COVID-19 pandemic”
2.”Good practices and interventions to support the school community during the pandemic”
The workshop was the continuation of the multilevel interventions of the Laboratory of School Psychology for the psychosocial support of school communities, including 13 Resources created in all phases of the pandemic with useful directions for students, teachers and families as well as proposed activities for implementation in the classroom with the aim of strengthening the mental resilience of children / adolescents in the period of the pandemic.
