Mental Health in the classroom. Psychosocial approach to behavioural problems
The aim of this article is, on the one hand, to share the experience acquired in this field and, on the other, to reflect on what has been done and to make teachers aware of the fundamental role they play as generators and modifiers of their students’ social behaviour, and to propose the teaching of social skills as a preventive alternative. The mental health of society is at stake, so it is important to ask ourselves: What are we talking about when we talk about violence? What are the interpersonal and social dynamics that lead to the establishment of violent relationships?… To this end, a small experience with primary school teachers and the benefits of its implementation will be described.
